Please do NOT make an appointment or attend the Practice if you suspect you may have the virus.
Please do NOT attend the Practice unless you have a pre-arranged appointment. Prescription requests and samples should be left at the station provided at the front entrance to the hospital.
Please note that two metre physical distancing remains in place in healthcare settings as per the current Scottish Government guidance.
For the latest information please visit www.nhsinform.scot/coronavirus and https://coronavirus.nhsfife.org/ and/or call 0800 028 2816
Please be assured that the Practice is open but please see the Clinical Topics section on our website homepage regarding Coronavirus COVID-19 for updated information regarding temporary changes to our appointment bookings systems.
If your query relates to COVID-19 boosters or flu vaccination, the Practice staff will not be able to answer your questions. The local vaccination programme is being led by NHS Fife rather than by individual medical practices and patients are being offered appointments in order of the priority set out by the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI).
Please be assured that you will be contacted and offered a vaccination appointment in accordance with this criterion. Those eligible to receive both the COVID-19 booster and flu vaccination may be able to receive these at the same appointment. For more information on how to obtain your vaccines, visit www.nhsinform.scot or www.nhsfife.org/coronavirus
As per the NHS/Scottish Government guidance, please do not contact the Practice to ask for a Covid Vaccination Passport or status certificate – we will not be able to provide a letter showing your vaccination status. Instead you should visit www.nhsinform.scot
The Practice has no direct/patient facing role in the clinical vaccine exemption process in Scotland. Persons eligible for exemption are being identified centrally. For full information please follow this link nhsinform.net/nhs-scotland-covid-status
Please see the National Wellbeing Hub and NHS Inform for resources regarding Long Covid.
