Screening for Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI)

There is an NHS run Sexual Health Clinic for students at St Andrews Community Hospital on a Friday afternoon between 1.30pm and 5pm during term time and is an appointment-only clinic.  To make an appointment please telephone 01592 647979 between 8.30am – 1.30pm Monday to Friday. There will be no student clinic on Friday, 16th November 2018 or Friday, 7th December 2018.

In addition there is an NHS run Sexual Health Clinic for the general public at St Andrews Community Hospital on a Friday between 9am and 12.30pm and is an appointment only clinic.  To make an appointment please telephone 01592 647979 between 8.30am – 1.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Both clinics are located within Outpatients which is next door to the Student Health Hub.

Concerned you may have a Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI)?

If you are concerned that you may have symptoms of a Sexually Transmitted Infection please phone the surgery to discuss with the triage clinician to organise an appointment. Alternatively book an appointment at the Genito-Urinary Medicine (GUM) clinic in either Dundee or Kirkcaldy. You will often need to phone during office hours to make an appointment for these clinics, although if you visit their websites they sometimes offer drop in clinics:
